Mr. Trammell is the principal officer and founder of Trammell Engineering. He lives in Arab, Alabama with his wife and daughter. He loves being an engineer, but he is quick to say that his faith and family are the most important parts of his life. When he is not working, you can catch him spending time at the local theatre supporting his daughter’s love for acting, loading up the family for a weekend camping trip, or (if time allows) enjoying God’s creation while hunting or fishing.

Mr. Trammell began his career as an engineer in 2004 after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Auburn University; however his love for engineering and construction began much earlier. He claims that his real training began when he was a child playing with Lincoln Logs and Lego sets. When in High School, he was encouraged by his shop teacher to consider building science or civil engineering as a career. He took that advice and ultimately decided that civil engineering at Auburn University was the direction he wanted to go. He began working for the US Army Corps of Engineers while in school at Auburn and has been with them since 2002. In 2009, Mr. Trammell obtained his professional engineering license and then two years later he received his Master of Engineering degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 2018 Mr. Trammell became a Certified Construction Manager.  

Mr. Trammell founded Trammell Engineering with the intent of being able to provide engineering services on a personal level to clients, and ultimately to increase engineering and construction project success. Contact us today to see how we can partner together.
